Chase graduated from a vocational school in 2008 with certifications in architectural drafting, carpentry, and cabinetmaking. Each year the class would build a modular house from the ground up giving experience in all building trades. During his time in his vocational courses Chase was an active participant in SkillsUSA competitions sharpening his work skills and learning to perform under pressure. In 2008 he placed 1st in the state of Virginia in cabinetmaking and went on to place 22 in the nation.
After graduation, Chase went on to put his drafting skills to use designing low voltage systems for commercial buildings in Bedford, VA. After 2 years he made the decision to pursue work that would allow him to work with is hands. He transferred out of the office and into the field as a system technician installing security, fire alarm, intercom, and nurse call systems. During his time as a system technician, Chase also attended a local community college for classes on Business Management. He later completed his Business Management courses at NC State.
Arthur’s Artworks, as a business, received its inauguration in Virginia as a small woodworking business. Taking principles and skills from his time as a cabinetmaker Chase created custom furniture and smaller wood projects for clients. After moving to Raleigh, he worked for a traffic engineering firm while getting his business established here in the Triangle area.
During his time here in Raleigh, Chase has taken on multiple complete home renovations as well as countless smaller remodel and tile projects. He has established contacts with some of Raleigh’s tradesmen who understand the value of quality work.
